Miss Charlotte’s new Dress

Pink PinaforeMiss Charlotte recieved a beautiful new dress today! It was a gift from mk13 for some of the modeling work Miss Charlotte has been doing for her. It’s so pretty! I love the pintucks and the little lace details as well as the summery country design. Miss Charlotte seems pleased to have a new addition to her wardrobe :bow:

Sadly, I’m still waiting on payment from some of the people who bought clothes from me :grr: this is a little annoying as a friend is selling a different version of the Swan Lake jsk that I would really like to aquire. Its one of my favourite prints ever, I have such a fascination for anything to do with ballet, and in particular swan lake. It is this jsk in the blue/white colouration *sigh* perhaps it is silly to want the same print in two different colours/styles but alas I am addicted to these looping rococo panels, can’t you tell? ^_~

    I’d love to attempt clothing in SD/MSD size one of these days… I once had an absurd dream that I could raise enough money to buy a Nono by making clothing for SDs… hehe. But it seems like they’re good sizes- not as mind-breakingly tiny and obnoxious as Pullip clothes, but quicker to make than human clothes. : 3 Plus I’ve got loads of smallish pieces of fabric I bought for Pullip clothing, which takes up such a miniscule amount of fabric I’m still left with extra no matter what! XD Don’t know if any of them are Charlotte-coloured though…

    Oh, I simply fell in love with that print the moment I saw it! I couldn’t blame you if you collected all the colors!
    Personally, I’m favorite to the red version.

    Hello Princess, Miss Charlotte deserves the same attention as a Princess deserves! She must be very happy with her beautiful new dress thanks to mk13’s kindness. Princess, do You notice how much Miss Charlotte resembles Your eLouai Princess opposite? Wouldn’t it be wonderful to find a matching ball gown for her - together with the tiara and pendant jewels?

    She does look lovely.
    And I don’t blame you for wanting that dress, it’s gorgeous. (I want one ;~;)

    One uqestion, Princess: where did you downloaded the Macoto’s Princess illustrations? I’ve been searching for them since I saw your entry here and I couldn’t found it! ;_;

    skwerlie Sewing for MSDs is quite easy. I’d like to get an SD someday, I think it would be even more fun to make clothes in those proportions.

    Abbie-chan The red version would look lovely on you!

    Nigel Miss Charlotte would indeed look lovely in that style of dress! I shall have to look for or possibly commission one ^^ she already has a tiny tiara though!

    Olivia The Swan Lake print is gorgeous, I think it would have to be one of if not my favorite BABY print ever (hard to choose with the Marie Antoinette print!)

    Sora Hi! The link to Macoto’s gallery is in my links page. There’s not a lot there though, so you have to buy the books. I have the Macoto’s Princess artbook and its well worth owning!

    Swan Lake is one of my favourite stories ever. I loved it for years without seeing the ballet. But one day, one of the ladies I used to work with was talking about the work she did with the ballet and I told her about how much I loved the beauty of the story. She responded by getting me 2 opening night tickets to the ballet’s production of it for free, and even personally introducing me to the ballet dancers. It was incredible.
