Tea at Tranby
This morning I had devonshire tea with the Queen at Tranby House. The little tearooms on the river are very sweet, and form part of an old colonial household which you can visit. They have pretty little cottage gardens and climbing roses
and serve the lightest fluffiest scones around! You have to go in the morning though, when the scones are freshly baked.
I talked to my Mother about travel, and possibly going back to France in a few years. It feels like its been so long since I went away, and I really do hope to be in japan next year for Hanami
it would be nice to visit at the same time as Sofia and go shopping together.
This afternoon Mirai and I are going to help her friend who is a photography student, which means we get to stand around in a studio and have professional photos taken of us
which is always fun. I think I will wear my pink Swan Lake Jsk. Hopefully I can get copies of the photos and post them here later!

Wow, you look so elegant! Mmmm….scones…it’s been ages since I’ve eaten some - in fact years. I should make some this weekend.
Yes it would be awsome if we could go to Japan at the same time so we could meet. You´ve been to France? I didn´t know that! Exchange student?
I have been thinking about going to Paris this summer so I don´t implode because of my longing to travel, and it would be the first time I visit France.

I’d love to go France. I long to go almost anywhere in Europe, but France has suddenly taken center stage in my mind.
You look very elegant in black by the way. ^^

Princess, I hope You and and Mirai had great fun at the photography studio. Real life photos are fun though studio portraits with a sympathetic photographer can reveal amazing detail about the sitter. I really look forward to seeing the results, Princess.

These days, because I’ve really rediscovered my love for language and for communication, I think I’d want to do something like this if I was jetting half-way across the world:

I think it’s the best way to learn a language properly, going somewhere, and both being taught and needing to use it in real life. I’m going to Japan now, and in a couple of summers, if I can find the money for it, I think I might want to go to a summer school for Chinese. If that scares me too much, then for French. ;)
