The Gardens of Versailles
Today was beautiful in every way. Skwerlie, Mirai and I went to the Queen’s Gardens dressed in our very finest and there met our two friendly photographers, Eugene and Wilson. Mirai was wearing her beautiful handmade classic lolita skirt, Skwerlie looked lovely in her new skirt and hat from Candy Violet and I finally had the opportunity to wear my Marie Antoinette OP!
The gardens are quite lovely, full of little flower beds in pretty patterns, ornamental lakes covered in floating lily pads and crossed by dainty little bridges, gazebos, benches, lamp posts and graceful weeping willows. We could not have asked for a better location.
For lunch we had a little picnic on the lawn, cheeses and dips, cut vegetables, olives and crackers with blackcurrant cordial to wash it down. It was quite refreshing and prepared us for yet another round of photo taking, this time we took the images ourselves, which meant taking turns as the photographer, although for one shot we wedged the camera in a tree and put it on self timer, I’m quite pleased with the results! Wow. You ladies all look so lovely and elegant! And at last we get to see your dress, Skye! I didn’t honestly expect it to be quite so beautiful. But it is.And you look beautiful in it.
And now I want one. ;~;
Also, would it be alright if I took some of the photos and played with them on my computer?

The next time i will go to Versailles Garden, i really, really will think of you! Maybe this summer or maybe not. Anyway, the three of you were so cute! But i can’t deny that you were “my favourite one” such a princess in the soul, you become a princess in the style.

*Makes a deep bow to the 3 lovely young aristocrats* This humble “pluck” (French slang for peasant) is overwhelmed by Your gracious beauty, even as depicted on his poor computer monitor. What actual charm and living gracious beauty to be in Your Presence as You strolled and enjoyed the beauty of each other and Your surroundings. i guess i completely forgot to comment on this on EGL- i knew why i was so sure this dress would look awesome on you, and im right- its a pure dream! i love how you did your hair. will you be getting one of the new MA-bags baby has released not to long ago? it would match so well. your companions look cute aswell- what a nice set of pics.
