Today was the first time I have seen Mirai-chan in a while because we have both been busy with work, so we decided to have a little picnic to celebrate!
There is a tiny park near where we live, it has a gazebo and some beautiful old trees, we set up our picnic blanket (which has teddy bears on it, so cute!) and had our lunch of fresh salad, finger sandwiches and iced chai tea.
The autumn leaves were so pretty to watch, every time the wind blew they would float down in a rain of gold, we tried to capture this effect on camera but it just didn’t show. Nonetheless, after we were pleasantly full we took some cute snapshots around the gardens. In particular there was a tree we both took turns climbing up, it made a comfortable seat too! We picked flowers and blew dandelion heads and just enjoyed the superb weather. I think it is nice to have little impromptu outings when the days are as fine as they are now. Soon it will be raining and cold all the time and we shan’t be able to go outside nearly as much.
I have decided to redecorate my Palace as a winter project. This means I have to stop buying clothes for a little bit and spend my pin money on new furnishings instead, it will be nice though to have some new curtains, a mirror and maybe a dress form. I want to get some framed paintings too, I think walls look very empty without pictures.
A Princess’s sanctuary should be as beautiful and comfortable as possible.

My husband and I are moving at the end of the month, to a bigger place, so I am excited to also begin decorating. Most of our decor leans towards the darker Gothic Revival feel of Victorian with a dash of Tudor Revival, so it will be nice to see how different our decorating adventures will be! ^_^

Oh, your hair turned out so cute!
Sounds as though you had a lovely time, I hope you will have plenty of time to enjoy the good weather before it gets too wintery. It’s going to be Summer here soon, so things are getting quite lovely on my end as well.
Good luck with decorating your room, I’m sure it’ll wind up gorgeous. Do you plan to buy that four poster bed you mentioned previously?

Again thanks to You and Mirai, Princess, for posting another enchanting series of photos.
Good luck with Your redecorating plans - I am certain that You will create something very special suitable for a true Princess. I do hope You will still find time for more photoshoots and Your writings!
