The sun is scorching down outside 
so I was very careful when I went out this morning to remember my parasol. Even still the heat is quite draining and I am glad to be home sipping lemon barley cordial in the cool rooms of the palace.
I have very exciting news though, the reason for my morning excursion was to begin fulfilling one of my New Year’s Resolutions 
On the weekend I discovered two pieces of beautiful white Queen Anne furniture, one is a little side table with drawers and the other a really stunning Vanity table with mirrors! This morning I went and purchased them and they will arrive here on Thursday. I can’t wait!
While I was out I also picked up some new books from the library, I have been starved of reading material lately. Now I think I shall spend the rest of the afternoon keeping cool 
and catching up on some reading. Parfait finds a nice bowl of vanilla icecream with blueberries and raspberry sauce solves just about anything, including midsummer days. 
Gahh no, it’s hot out? Blast! Ah well, I suppose it’ll be refreshing to get to the air conditioned goodness of my boyfriend’s house after sticky weather traveling.
I’m so jealous of your new furniture stuffs! Can’t wait to see pictures and perhaps see them in person someday. ^^

It’s so hard to find pretty antique furniture around where I live. I’m currently looking for some white antiques for my new room when we move to a new castle. Though the only thing I have found so far is a pretty light pink quilt…T.T
