International Princess Day
Thank you to everyone who made suggestions for the International Princess Day! 
May seems to be the most popular month, and Louisa suggested May 5th which is Eugénie de Montijo’s birthday, she is one of the Princesses featured on this site so I think that’s a great choice!
Lets all celebrate it this year together! Maybe you would like to have a special day out to treat your royal self, 
go to the theatre or the cinema, eat at your favourite cafe, get a manicure or go shopping. Whatever makes you feel happy and spoils your inner Princess. Perhaps you might like to use this occaision to focus on something you consider particularly worthwhile, donate to a charity, 
have tea with your Grandmother, bake cookies for all your friends. You could even have a Princess party and invite other Princesses to celebrate with you! Wear your favourite dress (and a tiara of course) 
have a princess cake and play party games. Even if your idea of a real treat is a relaxing day spent reading and daydreaming followed by a nice bubble bath, celebrate your inner princess-ness however you see fit!
I would love to hear about your Princess days after May 5th, so please send me photos and descriptions! I think this is going to be really special, knowing I am sharing this Princess day with all of you

May 5th is the anniversary of the day my husband asked me out for the first time, so I think it’s a great choice for a day! We don’t usually do much to speak of, so maybe I can convince my husband to do something more romanitc since it will be Princess day as well!

May 5th is an amazing date for the princess day, as it will be one day of pure pleasure and happiness before the final exams will start. I am looking forward to it!

Sweet, May 5th? That’s the day after my Mum’s birthday! Perhaps I’ll have a Punk Rock Princess day, instead … Just to be truer to myself! XP! This would consist of listening to music by my favourite bands, wearing an outfit with pieces like a plaid skirt and army boots, taking photography of graffiti’d buildings, and hanging around downtown. This is starting to sound really awesome to me. XD!!!

Cinco de Mayo is already a big Mexican holiday celebration so this adds to the fun. I think it would be cool for the goth lolis (not me, though, lol) to eat the candy skulls and reflect on their passed relatives and also celebrate the joy of living and their princess selves.
I am not Mexixan or anything lol, but my birthday is May 7th so there will be like a whole week of celebrations for me! Yay.

I have the same little problem as some of the other princesses; Princess Day is a Monday for me, and so perhaps I’ll celebrate it the weekend before, and bake something for my friends for the monday… even so, horay for Princess Day! ^w^ You can bet this princess will be celebrating!

Well, Princess Day falls over a major holiday for me, so I doubt I will do much splurging on myself.
I do have a gorgeous girl who I am courting, though. Perhaps I can take her out to a nice dinner and buy her a few little gifts.

Splendid day, though it is a Monday and I will be having lessons that day. But I can always spoil myself with a nice lunch and my favourite outfit. And have a relaxing time after classes.
I simply cannot wait!

Thank you everyone. I’m sorry that May 5th lands on a Monday this year, but maybe if you have to work or go to school on that day you could celebrate on the weekend instead? The day itself is not so important as the time taken to enjoy yourself, so please do it when it is convenient for you! I look forward to hearing about your Princess days ^^

Oh, thank you for reminding me! Luckily, Monday is one of my day’s off from work, so it should work out perfectly for me. Now my mind is full of plans and imaginings of the beautiful things I’ll do. There is a park not far from my house with lovely shady trees, a white gazebo and a little lake where two beautiful swans live, and I think it might be the perfect place to celebrate…

Can’t wait! I am gonna eat lots of sugar and get hyper on that day. I might bake some cakes too…or cookies, whichever is best. Or make jelly :P Shame it’s a Monday, oh well.
