It is raining today! 
It hasn’t rained in months and now its making up for it by pouring down out there, the street looks like a small river. Its nice though, I miss the sound of rain and its a welcome relief from the hot weather we’ve had lately.
This morning I went for a hair cut. I tried a new salon, one nearer to the Palace than my old one and I was a bit nervous but I am so happy with it! 
I could bake my new hairdresser cookies! I wanted a parted fringe (bangs) with some shaping around the sides and I think she did a really good job. I had the back trimmed and thinned out a lot too, which will make it so much easier to curl and now when I wear braids they are so cute and little! 
I really wanted to go take Purikura to celebrate, but the nearest one is rather far away and I don’t want to go outside in this weather. Instead I used Puricute.com which is a fun little site that lets you make purikura style photos online. Its not as good as the real thing but its fun to play with for a little while.

You know, I have never much cared for the rain. I admit a summer shower can be alright, but most rain here is cold and dark. It makes me depressed, and I can rarely feel comfortable enough to curl up and read.
I’m glad you enjoyed the rain, though, and your haircut is lovely. I also checked out the site and it was a lot of fun!
