Queen Elise ~ It can be so hard to part with people we still love, I really hope you find happiness and everything you need in your next relationship!

Sora ~ Your gifts sound so precious! I am sure she will love them all, I hope you both have a magical Valentine's day!

Lauren ~ Thank you so much for commenting! I think a card and chocolates can still be very sweet, especially when they're hand made, that makes them so much more personal. I hope you had a lovely Valentine's!

Princess Jaye ~ Thank you for the link! I haven't seen it before, and its really interesting. I want to read some of these books they have listed, I guess I need to improve my french!

Princess O'Mara ~ I agree that these could definitely be fun to do with a friend. I hope you had a lovely valentine's day!

I really enjoyed this particular piece, but I think it's important not to forget those who might not be with someone. This time of year can be hard if you're alone.

I do think, though, that some of these ideas would be great to do for a friend too, not just a significant other. I know I'm putting little chocolates on my roommates desks that morning, just to show I care.

Oh, this is such a lovely sentiment. Thank you for writing it. Even though I have no special someone to romance, reading such wonderful ideas is a treat.

Dear Princess Skye,
I loved the article, as I love all of your articles. Day after day your entries provide me with inspiration.
I'm glad that in your entry you mentioned important things about gift-giving on Valentine's. Presentation, observation, and personalization are all so meaningful. Thank you. (:

This isn't really related to your article (I apologize), but I found something that may be to your interest.

It's a list of all the books that Marie Antoinette had in her personal library. Of course you've probably already seen something similar since you know so much about her, but I thought of you and this pretty blog. (:

Have a lovely day, Princess Skye.

This was undoubtedly the cutest entry I have read in a while on any blog. :3 This year's Valentine's day is going to be super since I'm finally seeing my loved one after three weeks separation and I'll most definitely use your tips to make it even better than it's already going to be!

Lots of love! ♥

I've never posted a comment in your writings before, only browsed, but I had to post in this one!

I love Valentine's Day because I have a loved one who I care a lot about. I made him a card and chocolates, but since he lives far away from me, we can't do anything on the day. :(
I was wondering if giving him homemade chocolates still shows that I care? I know chocolates are typical, so I just wanted to ask. ^-^

This is the first time in my sixteen years I cna enjoy Saint Valentine's day, because I can give somebody something and only that makes me feel happy ♥ A week ago I planned how it was going to be and now it is half finished. My idea is to give her a hand-made drawing for this day, a poem in a lovely portrait and a fairy tale enterely made by me (don't worry, she doesn't know this website exists so she won't see anything :3). I think this is the best idea I could have. I don't specially like to give roses and chocolates because that's so much cliché and she likes originality, also I feel happier if I do something with my own hands, something she can keep forever ♥
