Oh, goodness, was comment 4 my terrible writing? It was! I'm sorry. I usually attempt to have better grammar and less repetition of phrases.

Princess Desi ~ Your casual Princess style sounds really cute! I love hearing about different personal styles.

mizbelle ~ Hello! Welcome to the Princess Portal, it sounds like we have very similar tastes in clothing, I love beautiful prints too!

Rosie ~ Your personal style sounds very elegant and interesting. Your cloak sounds amazing! I would love a full length cloak trimmed with faux fur.

Here in Oregon it is still winter, and I love flowing ankle-length skirts that move dramatically but keep out the cold...I actually find them more comfortable than knee-length. My favorite is one my mother made, which is long and black with two evenly spaced strips of cloth that have a stained glass pattern in blue and green and gold and red, perfectly framed. I always get compliments when I wear it. I wear it with black sweaters or velveteen tops. Normally I wear very few ornaments, but I've taken to wearing my glasses more often, they're Sophia Loren frames that are gold with a very subtle touch of pink, and they frame my face perfectly. Also, I carry a purse that again, my mother made, originally to match my prom dress. It is made of red and gold dragon brocade and trimmed with a soft gold fringe. When the wind isn't too high I sometimes wear a blue full length wool cloak.

Hi! I just found your site and I have to say I really enjoy your idea of "Princess Aesthetic." It resonates with my tastes in fashion - pastels, detailed elegant prints, gauzy fluffy skirts, things that I might consider lolita-esque but more traditionally accepted clothing. Anyway, rock on, I am going to be sure to keep the Princess Aesthetic in mind now!

My casual princess would be described as a mixture of femininity and hip hop, what you would call an "Urban Princess" I suppose. Most of the colors I wear on school days are light pastels; anything from pale pinks, to powdered blues, and lavender. I like to mix things up, such as a pretty skirt, blouse, flats, and gigantic hoop earrings. Or jeans (fitted and non-sloppy of course)with a fancy blouse, converse, and my favourite gigantic headphones. (very old headphones, my father once owned them when they were young)
