This is cheating a little because technically this is my daily style for tomorrow when Clara and I are going to a Cyndi Lauper concert! We decided to dress up 80’s style, and I had a lot of fun putting this outfit together. Everything I’m wearing was $10 or under, from thrift stores and discount stores and a gorgeous little boutique called Chic & Chic  which is one of the cutest shops in town, they even have rhinestones on their eftpos machines!
We were really amazed to find these tutu skirts actually for sale brand new, I got the white and Clara got the black so we match. My favourite parts of this outfit are the scrunchies (I couldn’t decide on blue or pink so I wore both!) and the jelly shoes :shoe: I forgot how comfortable they are.
I feel like a little kid again in this style! I had a shirt very much like this polka dot one when I was younger. I think this is a really fun style to wear for a night, but I don’t know if I could adjust to legwarmers every day. :music: Can’t wait for the concert tomorrow!

Not too sure about these side ponytails,

Claire gave me this lolipop,
but I haven’t been able to eat it because its too cute!

It’s super cute! I think for 80’s style specifically the side ponytail really suits you. You did a masterful job with the layering.

Cyndi Lauper.., I envy you.. -_-
That is… amazing. o______o
My god…it’s like stepping back into the 80’s…and my childhood! I used to think looking like that was so awesome! I used to dress like that all the time, side ponytail and all! Mix it up with some overalls, catch-phrase tshirts and slapbands and you’ve got me age 11! XD
Wow, I wouldn’t mind the 80’s fashion making a comeback if everyone looked this cute!
I love Cyndi Lauper. When I was born, the doctors said I looked like her because of the two-tone hair.
Coucou^^
You look so adorable and mischievous^^

Your outfit is something I’d really like to wear everyday - I love the soft colors and the playfulness of it. Thanks for inspiring me once again!

I like your coordination. I think a ponytail rocks this outfit. It’s sweet and suit a 80’s style! I was glad you talked about what you bought and where because when i went to Perth i did lots of shoppig and one of the cutest shop i’ve visited there was Chic & Chic. (I bought a black shirt with whit polka dots and cute lace on it.)
Hope you’ll enjoy your concert with your friend!
AHAHAHHAHAHHA THAT is seriously amazing. I think I need an outfit like that..
That’s lovely! I used to have a pair of jelly shoes that I wore when I went swimming. I lost them in a lake when I was about 10. ^_^;;
I’m an italian girl who’s looking around here… ^^ You’re so sweet and cute, I really admire you!
(excuse me for my english mistakes… :P)
I really like this outfit haha it’s a complete flashback! I love vintage and older styles. Too bad this was done a few years before my time.
I absolutely love that skirt, I’m from Perth as well, what store did you purchase it from? Was it Chic and Chic? where is that located? so that I may purchase one for myself. I want one so bad, I’ve even searched ebay high and low and haven’t found anything close. The belt is gorgeous too is that part of the top or separate? Thankyou
I adore this site.
