		<description>Your analysis is interesting, and I like it.  You certainly are right, Sleeping Beauty doesn't seem to have much power of her own or control over her own destiny.  I liken Sleeping Beauty to women now a days who think that they must fall in love to wake up to the sleep that has been their lives.

I don't discount the power of love, it's something that I too look forward to some day, but there is so much to live for besides that (and in addition to it).  I live for writing and drawing.  I think a lot of women forget the part of the story where Briar Rose was *living* her life and not sleeping it away.

Patience is always a good thing to cultivate.  I need to work on that more myself.</description>
