So Princess Skye’s favourite anime is this series called ‘Rose of Versailles’ its really old and pretty long, I don’t know much about it so I thought I’d have a chat with the main character and see what all the fuss is about.

Milky: Hi, so thanks for joining me today. I hope the tea is allright. To begin with, could you please introduce yourself?
Lady Oscar: I am Oscar François de Jarjayes, daughter of General Jarjeyes and Commander of the Royal Guard.
Milky: Oh, I see. Nice to meet you. So, I like the uniform, how did you get in to the Guard and do you like your job?
Lady Oscar: I was raised as a boy by my father, and learnt fencing from a young age. I didn’t intend to join the guard but eventually I gave in to my father’s wishes. Its not a bad job, but sometimes I get tired of babysitting the Queen.
Milky: That would be Marie Antoinette? What do you think of Her Highness?
Lady Oscar: shakes head She’s a flighty, frivolous young woman but I believe she has a pure heart.
Milky: Why do you think your story has been so popular, I mean there’s even been a live action movie and an Takarazuka production.
Lady Oscar: It’s a classic tale of love and tragedy, civil war and the struggle for justice. I’m told it’s pretty too.
Milky: So how does it end?
Lady Oscar: I’d rather not talk about that…
Milky: Well thank you for your time! Thats it for today, so why don’t you all go and check out Rose of Versailles? You can learn a few things about the French Revolution and see some great sword fights and balls while you’re at it.

Hello again! It’s me, Milky. Firstly I want to thank you all for helping me decide what to write about, you made your votes and in the end.. I still can’t choose, so I’m going to do a bit of each! There will be little posts about japanese stuff, princess skye stuff and I hope some emails too. My email address is milky @ princessportal.com so please write to me! For today’s column I decided to introduce you to my neighbours. They live on the shelf below me and I can tell you its very crowded down there! I think there’s 23 of them now and they have pretty loud parties on the weekends.

They tell me they’ve ruled the toy box since Skye was a tiny little Princess. She never liked barbie dolls or anything like that but loved My Little Ponies. She only had a few back then, and used to always have a Queen and King pony who were her favourite two at the time. Of course she never actually had any boy ponies so one of them had to pretend. She built them a palace under her desk and they had many adventures. These days they don’t get up to so much, and there are some newcomers amoung them who look a bit different but they always seem to get along fine.

So they’re not as cute as Amigurumi, but I guess they’re a pretty special childhood memory for Skye. She still likes to go in to toy shops to see all the new ones. I hope she doesn’t get any more though, or I might have to find a new bookshelf…

Hi there! I have some very exciting news for all you Princess Portal readers, starting today there will be a new section on this blog, written by me! Princess Skye is very busy these days researching lots of new and interesting things to write about, so in the mean time I offered to entertain you with some exciting stories and interesting facts. The Princess said I’ve been watching too much Card Captor Sakura, but she agreed to let me write. This column will be cute, fun, silly and hopefully an enjoyable and light-hearted part of the Portal.

I have just one problem, I’m not exactly sure where to start ^^; I know so many wonderful things and I’m sure you’d find them all amazing, but I think I should have some sort of theme going, like the other Princess Portal sections. Also, Skye said I have to choose one. So I made a little list and I was wondering if you could please tell me what you’d like to hear about?

Cute things from Japan - I’m an Amigurumi and I came here all the way from Japan so I know lots about japanese culture and since Lolita is also a part of that maybe I could tell you some fun things about Japan?

Princess insider - There’s a lot of stuff on this site about Princess Skye already, but I bet I know some things she’d never post about! I live in her room too so I have access to all the cool pretty stuff here, some of which you’ve never seen before!

Milky Letters - Princess gets heaps of letters and emails these days, and she already has a page for questions on the site. But I don’t get any mail yet, and I think I should. If you wanted to write and ask me about things I could post the answers here. Skye says I can even have my own email address!
