Happy Easter! Easter has been very busy for this Princess. Unfortunately in Australia, while we have a holiday on good friday and easter monday, the saturday and sunday are not holidays and thus I had to work. Today was lovely though, the weather was sweet and cool, with warm sunlight and clear skies. A perfect autumn day.

I spent the morning relaxing with the Prince, before we decided to visit the Markets, one of those few places still open today. We browsed endless stores of bric-a-brac, the air was heavy with the scent of fresh fruit and cut flowers, and I very nearly bought a potted miniature rose :flower: In one of the market’s there is a sweets store we sampled some old fashioned candy and bought a little to eat as we walked. I saw some lovely handmade jewelry and spent a while in a little antique dealer looking at mirrors and tapestries and tea cups. For lunch we enjoyed waffles with syrup and ice cream! Not very healthy, but delicious none the less.

It was a lovely way to spend easter, though sadly I did not have time for the easter photos I wished to take so they shall have to come a little late. Parfait and Éclair wish you a very happy easter, as they enjoy their chocolate eggs! :hearttwo:

Autumn Leaves Today was beautiful in every way. Skwerlie, Mirai and I went to the Queen’s Gardens dressed in our very finest and there met our two friendly photographers, Eugene and Wilson. Mirai was wearing her beautiful handmade classic lolita skirt, Skwerlie looked lovely in her new skirt and hat from Candy Violet and I finally had the opportunity to wear my Marie Antoinette OP!

:flower: The gardens are quite lovely, full of little flower beds in pretty patterns, ornamental lakes covered in floating lily pads and crossed by dainty little bridges, gazebos, benches, lamp posts and graceful weeping willows. We could not have asked for a better location.

For lunch we had a little picnic on the lawn, cheeses and dips, cut vegetables, olives and crackers with blackcurrant cordial to wash it down. It was quite refreshing and prepared us for yet another round of photo taking, this time we took the images ourselves, which meant taking turns as the photographer, although for one shot we wedged the camera in a tree and put it on self timer, I’m quite pleased with the results! Please enjoy today’s photoshoot in my gallery.

curlylocks The past two days seem something of a blur to me still, so I shall try and report them both in one entry. Yesterday we spent the day with Tiffy, who I am happy to say enjoyed her ball quite thoroughly! We went shopping together, although I was very good and did not make any random purchases, and had lunch. I had chicken rice paper rolls, which were missing the crucial ingredient of fresh mint! Much to my dissapointment, although I had my favourite Strawberry and Kiwi Fruit juice after so all was not lost :strawberry:

In the afternoon we picked up some movies from the video library and spent the evening watching Alice through the Looking Glass (The Kate Beckinsale adaption, not terribly good.) and Noah Wyle’s The Librarian, which is an old favourite of mine that I simply had to introduce Mirai to.

In the evening we put my hair up in curlers for a trial. I didn’t have the best night’s sleep, but am told I will get used to the sensation. This morning my hair was so curly! Big bouncy, springy ringlets. It took a little playing to put them in to my desired style, but I think it just might work! :sparkle: The rest of the day was spent replying to emails, grocery shopping and watching Sense and Sensibility, which was a lovely adaption! I have such a weakness for Jane Austen, although my favourite is Emma.

I’m very excited about tomorrow! Though you shall have to wait and see why :star:

parfaitparasolI spent last night caring for the Prince and I am happy to say he is feeling much better, we think he was suffering from a bad migraine. To cheer him up today we went and saw the husky puppies at the pet store :dog: they were quite adorable, though personally I would love to adopt a smaller dog, such as a miniature poodle. We had lunch together, and then returned to the palace where Mirai and I had a mission ahead of us!

Tonight is Tiffy’s school ball, and we were to help her get ready. After much fussing she left looking picture perfect in red satin corset and skirt, her hair done up in braids with matching ribbons and a pretty floral tiara. :tiara: I hope she is having a wonderful night! I really wish there were more balls held around here, I have heard in Vienna they still have a ball season and it is quite fashionable for young people to learn the waltzes and attend in their finest gowns. I quite envy the Viennese!

I recieved a very long parcel today in which was my new parasol from BABY! It is their musical print, but you can hardly tell. I personally adore the contrasting pink on white and the pretty lace print border. Parfait is helping me model for you!

mariedress1Today was fairly uneventful. I spent the morning running errands, borrowed some new books from the library :book: I am reading “Milady Charlotte” by Jean Plaidy, one of my favourite historical fiction writers (her Madame Du Barry is a treasure!)

My new handbag arrived today, it is of the Metamorphose Swan Emblem series. White with a large gold cameo of two swans topped with a crown, it matches my wallet perfectly and is to become my new daily handbag. Its just the right size too, I can fit a book, wallet, tami-chan, keys and other small princess necessities in to it nicely.

Everyone seems to be getting sick lately. Tonight I must travel to the Prince’s residence to nurse him back to health, and Mirai chan has had a cold all week. I must take my herb teas and try and avoid the same fate! I think it must be the change in seasons :winter:

Please enjoy this piece of art I created today. It is of course a Marie Antoinette chibi in my treasured gown. I can’t wait for BABY to release more accessories from this series!
