This evening the Queen and I took a spontaneous trip to the beach 
It was warm yet windy and the setting sun was lighting up the sea like a mirror. I love the beach, I think just being near it is refreshing and makes you happy. We buried our toes in the sand and got caught by the waves and watched the seagulls. I took a few photos. When we left my hair was full of salt spray and I felt more relaxed than I had in a long time 
We had dinner and went window shopping afterwards. 
One of the bookstores was open late so we went in and flipped through the pages for a little while. It was a lovely evening.
