Biography: Charlotte is the sole daughter and heiress to the Verdelet family. She spends most of her time at their Manor and estate in Buckinghamshire, surrounded by servants and her one exasperated nurse. Charlotte’s father is a noted scholar, egyptologist, orientalist and archaeologist. He is currently in Egypt with Sir William Flinders Petrie, uncovering mummies and desert tombs. Charlotte has a great admiration for her ‘explorer’ father, and awaits his return with much anticipation.

A romantic, mysterious child with a head full of faeries and dirty feet beneath her expensive skirts, she lives a life tucked away from harsh reality, innocence preserved by her own daydreams and fantasies.

Dislikes: cats.

Biography: Éclair arrived at the palace in a basket full of strawberries. The fresh strawberries, which had been picked for the Princess’s breakfast were just the right colour to hide amoungst and the little bunny waisted no time in nibbling her way through the juciest and sweetest of the fruit. By the time the cooks discovered her, there was nothing to do but to take the petit lapin to the Princess and explain what had occured. However, Princess Skye was delighted with the little culprit and from then on she has lived in the palace and had strawberries for breakfast, lunch and tea!

Dislikes: black, being stuffed in cardboard boxes.

Biography: Parfait is Éclair’s sister. She went to the Palace looking for her dissappeared sister and arrived during the Annual Ice cream festival, a special event held by Princess Skye on the hottest day of the year. As she entered the courtyard she was amazed to see stalls and pretty pavillions everywhere serving a thousand different flavours of iced cream, iced yoghurt, iced sherbet and sweet milk. Parfait is quite shy, so she decided to take cover behind one of the stalls and wait until it was all over. She’d not been there five minutes, however, when a young girl in a pink dress came to the stall and bought a Cloudberry swirl sundae. So curious was Parfait that she put her head around the corner and was spotted by the icecream-eating Princess. They quickly became friends and shared the dessert, Parfait now lives in the palace with her little sister and occaisionally accompanies the Princess on her travels, carrying all the important stuff.

Dislikes: Grapefruit, Shoes, Popular Anime Series

Biography: Milky is a Vegan, Cancer and likes short walks on the beach. Her dreams are to visit her homeland of Japan and also Guam. She writes a regular column for the Princess Portal and considers herself a normalising influence on the Princess and her household. Milky spends a good deal of her time watching Anime and playing video games and is a connoisseur of japanese cuisine. She also likes to travel in Princess Skye’s handbag so as to see more of the world and what it has to offer..
