I had two special parcels arrive today! Both held items from Angelic Pretty. The first a pair of socks with a pretty lace up design (they look so cute on!) and the second a little head bow with a cute white pom pom! :bow: I really wanted this headbow to match my bunny socks and winter coat.
I spent a lot of today writing the charter for the new west australian lolita club. I think its going to be a lot of fun and I already have some ideas for events. If only we could decide on a name!
I’ve also started reading a biography on Madame de Pompadour :book: its very interesting, I admit I’ve always found it hard to appreciate the maîtresse en titre but she was a very clever, resourceful woman and quite cultured and refined. She seems more serious and concerned with politics than Du Barry and Marie Antoinette.
Ironically I just picked up Madame de Pompadour’s biography myself just today. I plan to start reading it as soon as I finish Queen of Fahsion: What Marie Antoinetter Wore to the Revolution.
