Meet Taro!

It was yucky yucky hot today. And humid as well, so I spent the day indoors rather unproductively playing the new games the Prince put on my pink DS lite. :nintendo: I played Pheonix Wright, Ace Attourney which is fun but gets a bit long winded after a while. I tried the DS game of Barbie and the 12 dancing princesses :shoe: because I liked the movie. The graphics were very pretty, although its a sidescroller so a good part of it is running up and down the walls of a castle.

The best game though, is a virtual Hamster game, the japanese title of which is Love Love Hamster! Hamsters are illegal pets in Australia, and so its a bit of a novelty to play this game. Not to mention the adorable illustrations and cute mini-games! Its so quirky and fun. This is Taro, my baby hamster (that appears to be the breed name) and he talks! He speaks english and chinese. Its quite strange but makes the game a bit more interactive. :heartsmall:

I love pet games, but they make me want a real pet. Hopefully someday I’ll have a castle that permits the keeping of furry animal companions.

  2. Olivia Says:

Are hamsters illegal because of how fast they breed?

Hamsters are illegal because the government is concerned they would become feral like rabbits have, Olivia is correct ^^

Doesn’t stop me from wanting one of these cute little balls of fur though!
